Lombard mines - Italy

Long tradition in iron working has been present in this valley, located in the Lombardy region. Remains of mines still exist, waiting for becoming an open museum, as it was already happened to other similar plants in the surroundings.

Exploration was conducted a couple of years ago. Conditions of some part of the mining sites can't be recommended for a visit, expecially insides. One could feel more safe on visiting officies and other minor working sites.
